Dove’s classes are all gentle stretching integrated with yoga poses, all levels will find they will enjoy this class. Dove says practice is the way! Yoga for People of Size and Mobility Challenges

Melanie teaches very gentle yoga geared to embrace body acceptance. A non-judgmental atmosphere using props, chairs, pillows, blocks, and the wall, allow students to experience and benefit from yoga through individual modifications. You Don’t Have to be Teeny to be a Yogini classes are Thursday evenings, 7pm-8pm. Private yoga instruction available. Melanie is certified in Reiki and uses a custom built massage table to offer intuitive healing sessions for people of size.

Michelle Stortz, C-IAYT, RYT500, MFA, is a certified yoga therapist specializing in yoga for cancer and chronic illness. She teaches in numerous medical settings throughout the Philadelphia area and augments this work with her studies in mindfulness/meditation, contemporary dance and Somatics practices and Reiki. Josh Mitteldorf teaches an eclectic style of yoga, drawn from 45 years of his own practice. Slow mindful stretches, vigorous kundilini breathing, and generous guided relaxation are part of his trademark. His gentle voice and inspiring suggestions have been cherished by neighbors in Mt Airy since the inception of the Learning Tree in 1982. In other parts of his life, Josh is a computational biologist, and a daily meditator at Sprinboard, poet and blogger, pianist and father of two grown-up daughters, adopted from China.
