Start your weekend with less stress and more interest and focus on your practice. The Meditations Book Group will explore Thanissaro Bhikkhu’s Meditation Series Book. The group will meditate, read, and discuss these short, clear dhamma talks.
There will be some copies of the book or chapters at the first meeting. The books are online and can be ordered for free at http://www.dhammatalks.org/index.html
No pre-reading necessary for attendance. You can drop into any class.

Cameron McMillan’s practice has included study with monastic teachers in the Thai Forest tradition, the Sri Lankan tradition, and Burmese tradition, and most recently with Ajahn Sucitto. Her lay western teachers started with Larry Rosenberg, and include Joseph Goldstein, Caroline Jones & Jack Kornfield.
She has studied at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies for many years. Her sitting practice includes three silent 3 month retreats.
She started meditation through yoga when she was 16 years old and began more dedicated study and practice 23 years ago. Qi Gong and T’ai Chi are part of her continuing body meditation practices. She has been leading and teaching at Springboard since 2006.
She currently leads two on-line Dhamma groups and continues to work with her long standing teacher Gloria Taraniya Ambrosia.
Originally from Indiana, Cameron is a retired Professor of Fine Arts with a degree from Yale University. She lives with her cartoonist husband, Scott Spencer, and their two sweet cats, Buzz and Nepa in their garden home in Philly.
