This 5-week Back-to-Basics Series is a fun and helpful resource, designed for brand new beginners (as well as more practiced students) who desire to explore the roots of hatha yoga. This comprehensive program, led by Angela Boltz, provides a supportive environment to learn hatha flow yoga fundamentals and provides students with the guidance they need to develop a safe and mindful yoga practice. In this series, students will receive individual attention while learning basic yoga philosophy (and lingo), the key elements of postural alignment, yogic breathing mechanics, and the tools to confidently weave this all together in most studio classes. Each 2-hour session will include a 45-min lecture with demonstration, discussion, and hands-on adjustments, followed by a short break and a 1 hour topic-specific yoga class.
